Vistara, the prominent full-service carrier, jointly operated by Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, has revealed plans to expand its international network. Starting October 1, 2023, the airline will initiate daily direct flights linking Delhi and Malé, a move aimed at enhancing its presence in the region.

Operated on the modern Airbus A320neo aircraft with a three-class configuration, the new flights intend to improve connectivity between India and the Republic of Maldives. Travelers will have the option to book their flights via Vistara’s website, mobile app, or through authorized travel agents.

Vinod Kannan, the CEO of Vistara, expressed his enthusiasm for the new route, highlighting its potential to provide customers with enhanced access to one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations. He stated, “We are thrilled to introduce direct connectivity between Delhi and Malé – our second route to the exquisite beach destination, in addition to Mumbai-Malé. This new route will enable us to provide our customers with enhanced access to one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations while also imparting further momentum to the existing bilateral cooperation between India and the Republic of Maldives.”
